The Next Generation
This elephant drawing was done as a tribute to this very special animal. The African elephant is what is called a keystone species, which means that they, like humans, shape their habitat in many ways and as such there are countless other creatures and more that rely on their impact on the environment. And they are matriarchal, living in female led groups, unlike the political party who uses them for a mascot. Read more about them here. And as you probably know the African elephant is endangered. To learn more about what you can do to help save the next generation, I’m sharing this link to the International Elephant Foundation.
