Granddaughters
Oil portrait of two sisters, commissioned by their grandmother. They proved to be very patient models while I photographed them. From the many photos I created a digital sketch which was then approved by the client and in this case both the mother and the grandmother. Once the sketch was approved I proceeded to the final painting. Capturing the personality as well as a likeness is always important to me when painting a portrait.
