A Friendship For Life
Little boy superhero illustrations from the book A Friendship For Life, by Daniel W. Boone. Written by a retired teacher who had worked with special needs children, this story was inspired by the author’s grandson and his “special” friend Jeffrey. As the designer and illustrator of the book, this story touched a memory with me as well. My choice to illustrate the little boy’s specialness with a cape was inspired by the “special” son of an author I had worked with on a previous book.
